Trump announces US-Iran agreement to end four-month conflict

President Donald Trump announced today that the United States and Iran have signed a memorandum of understanding to resolve the conflict that has persisted for nearly four months. The agreement was finalized in a digital format.

The memorandum was signed by President Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf. An official ceremony is scheduled for Friday, June 19.

Further details regarding the framework of the agreement are expected to be released within the next 24 to 48 hours. While the US administration has confirmed the signing, there has been no immediate confirmation from officials in Tehran.
