The Prime Minister met with EIB leadership to accelerate infrastructure modernization. The EIB serves as a critical partner for the country, having supported 39 projects worth over €1.7 billion (approx. 33.3 billion MDL) since 2007. Current priorities focus on energy interconnectivity with Romania, road and rail infrastructure, and digital health services.

In a separate bilateral meeting, Prime Minister Munteanu and his Luxembourg counterpart, Luc Frieden, discussed expanding economic cooperation. Key areas for potential investment include renewable energy, logistics, and modern agriculture.
