Czech Republic backs Moldova EU path during Grosu official visit

Moldovan Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu will undertake an official visit to the Czech Republic from June 22 to 23. The trip comes at the invitation of the President of the Czech Senate, Miloš Vystrčil.
The official agenda focuses on deepening political dialogue, enhancing interparliamentary cooperation, and securing Czech support for Moldova's European Union accession process.
Strengthening interparliamentary ties
During his stay in Prague, Speaker Igor Grosu will hold talks with his counterpart, Miloš Vystrčil, which will be followed by a joint press conference.
The Moldovan Speaker will also meet with Tomio Okamura, the President of the Czech Chamber of Deputies. Discussions will focus on boosting legislative cooperation and expanding the bilateral friendship group framework.
High-level executive and cultural agenda
The state visit includes high-level executive meetings at the Czech Government. Speaker Igor Grosu is scheduled to meet with Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš.
He will also hold strategic talks with Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Jaromír Zůna to address regional stability and security cooperation.
On the cultural front, Speaker Igor Grosu will attend the screening of "Reflections from Moldova," a documentary directed by Czech filmmaker Petr Voldán. The film focuses on promoting Moldova's international profile and cultural heritage abroad.
