Yellow heat alert on June 22: temperatures up to 35°C

The Meteorology and Environmental Monitoring Authority issued a Yellow Heatwave Code for Monday, June 22nd. The maximum air temperature is expected to reach up to 35 degrees Celsius.
A heatwave warning is currently in effect for the southern region of the Republic of Moldova and part of the central area of the country.
Meteorologists have announced that in these affected areas, maximum air temperatures are expected to reach between 33°C and 35°C.
Citizens are advised to avoid prolonged sun exposure during peak hours, stay hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids, and limit strenuous outdoor physical activity.
