Police launch investigation after discovery in Dănceni lake
Authorities in Moldova have launched a criminal investigation following the discovery of human remains in a lake near Dănceni, Ialoveni district. The remains were recovered on Sunday, July 12, by local authorities.
Initial forensic assessments indicate that the remains belong to two individuals, including one female. Investigators estimate the incidents occurred within the last two months.
The identification process remains complex as not all body parts have been recovered. Police divers are currently conducting underwater searches at the site, while forensic experts continue their analysis.
