The President of the Latvian Parliament comes to Moldova. Agenda of the visit
The President of the Latvian Parliament, Edvards Smiltens, will pay a working visit to the Republic of Moldova next week. The agenda was set today by the head of the legislature Igor Grosu and the Latvian ambassador in Chisinau, Uldis Mikuts.
The visit will address issues related to the intensification of inter-parliamentary cooperation, the adoption by the Republic of Moldova of good legislative practices in areas such as good governance, regional development, the fight against corruption and information security, said the Speaker of the Parliament, Igor Grosu.
The year 2023 is important for the Republic of Moldova in the realisation of its reform agenda and European course, with Latvia as a partner in this regard.
