Igor Grosu: The protests represent a hybrid attack by the corrupt and pro-Russian alliance
The recent protest actions represent a hybrid attack on the part of a corrupt and pro-Russian alliance, with the aim of destabilizing the political situation in the Republic of Moldova. The statement was made by the Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu, during a show on Jurnal TV.
According to the official, protesters and organizers who will block national roads and admit violations will have to bear certain consequences.
"We are monitoring very carefully. The police are doing their job and are documenting all these cases. This is not a genuine protest. They are externally paid protests set up by an organized criminal group. The police do their job, they document every violation and those who are guilty must know that they will be punished. We are witnessing a hybrid attack from an alliance of bandits and the Russian Federation ", said the Parliament Speaker.
We remind you that, today, at 11 o'clock, in front of the Parliament, there is another protest organized by the People's Movement.
The deputy of the Şor Party Marina Tauber said that thousands of people who want to get to the rally are blocked by the police. In particular, it concerns the residents of several districts in the north of the country, including Glodeni, Balti, Briceni and Fălești.
Tauber mentioned that today's rally is organized in support of the draft law developed by the Parliamentary faction of the "SOR" Party, which provides for the mechanism that allows the payment of citizens' bills for the three winter months. The document was to be registered at the Parliament.
