Chisinau Airport could return under state management after May 1
Chisinau International Airport could return under state management after May 1, with the completion of all technical procedures. This was announced by the Prime Minister, Dorin Recean, during a briefing, after the working visit to the Drochia district.

"The airport is already owned by the state, we are now transferring airport operations under state control. There are some technical procedures, security accreditations that take time and they have to be finished by May 1," said the prime minister.
We remind you that the Chisinau International Airport, taken under the concession by the company Avia Invest, controlled by Ilan Șor, returned to the administration of the state in November last year, after a decision to this effect, that was ruled by the magistrates of the Chisinau Court of Appeal.
