Moldovan companies invited to join economic mission in Vienna
Moldovan companies can now register for an official trade mission to Vienna, taking place from September 8–10, 2026. The event aims to boost exports, attract foreign investment, and establish strategic partnerships between Moldovan and Austrian businesses.
Organized by the Investment Agency of Moldova in partnership with the Moldovan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Moldovan Embassy in Austria, the initiative provides a direct bridge to European markets.
Strategic economic dialogue
The mission coincides with the official meeting of the Moldovan-Austrian Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation. This high-level framework strengthens bilateral ties and offers participants direct access to institutional decision-makers.
Delegates will participate in an Austria–Moldova business round table, site visits to Austrian companies, and tailored B2B networking sessions. Participants will also engage directly with members of the Romania Connect Austria business network.
High-growth sectors targeted
The Investment Agency encourages applications from key economic sectors, including:
Energy, infrastructure, and construction
Information and communications technology (ICT) and real estate
Healthcare, automotive, and agrifood
Companies from other commercial fields seeking Austrian partnerships are also eligible to apply.
Interested businesses must submit their applications online by August 17, 2026.
