Voted in final reading: "Romanian language" will replace "Moldovan language" in all legislation of the Republic of Moldova

The Parliament voted today in the final reading of the draft law on the replacement of the phrase "Moldovan language" with "Romanian language" in all the legislation of the Republic of Moldova, including in the Constitution. The document was backed by 57 PAS MPs and independent MP Gaik Vartanean.

Also, within 30 days from the entry into force of the law, the public authorities with the competence to adopt, approve or issue normative acts inferior to the law will make the necessary changes.

We remind you that, at the beginning of March, the parliamentary majority adopted this project in the first reading.
