10 mayors announced that they quit the PSRM
10 mayors from the list of the Party of Socialists from the Republic of Moldova announced that they join the Movement for the People and that they will ask the authorities to pay the bills for the cold period of the year.
It is about mayors from 10 villages of Soroca, Cantemir, Sîngerei, Comrat, Briceni, Căușeni and Drochia districts.
We remind you that on Wednesday, PSRM deputy Alexandr Nesterovschi announced that he was leaving the formation. He said that he remains in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, but he will not join any other party.
Today, the deputy of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists Vlad Bâtrâncea asked Nesterovschi to submit his mandate as a deputy. Batrâncea condemned the party switching and declared that recently several attempts to corrupt BCS deputies were witnessed, causing them to leave the faction. Vlad Batrîncea declared that the PSRM will consistently fight, by all possible methods, against party switching and requested the legal authorities and the Prosecutor's Office to investigate such cases.
Alexandr Nesterovschi is not the first deputy to leave the formation. At the end of last year, Gaik Vartanean also announced that he is leaving the PSRM and remains an independent deputy, but is joining the National Alternative Movement (MAN), led by the mayor of Chisinau, Ion Ceban.
