Moldovan-British cooperation, discussed by Maia Sandu and James Cleverly
President Maia Sandu discussed the security situation in the region and Moldovan-British cooperation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, James Cleverly.
The Moldovan president said that Great Britain supports the Republic of Moldova in the modernization of the defense sector, the customs sector and in combating border traffic, but also in maintaining stability and order in the country.
During the meeting, Maia Sandu also said that the United Kingdom contributes to the development of civil society and the independent media in the Republic of Moldova, and in the conditions of the hybrid attacks generated by Russia, the two countries must also cooperate in combating disinformation.
President Maia Sandu discussed with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, James Cleverly, about the signing of the agreement for the mutual conversion of driving licenses and about commercial cooperation.
