General Assembly of Judges adjourned until April 28
The meeting of the General Assembly of Judges was interrupted. The subject of the election of the members of the Superior Council of Magistracy from among the judges is to be examined on April 28, after the Supreme Court of Justice will rule on the appeals filed by the candidates who did not pass the evaluation within the Pre-Vetting Commission.
Also, the judges are to adopt a statement regarding the problems that are attested in the field, including the independence of the judges. The declaration is to be adopted at the next meeting at the General Assembly of Judges and delivered to the international community and professional associations.
