President of Romania Klaus Iohannis is visiting the United Arab Emirates

Investments attraction in the Romanian economy through projects in the field of infrastructure and energy are the main objectives of the visit that President Klaus Iohannis started on Saturday in the United Arab Emirates, Radio Romania News reports.

The four-day visit is taking place at the invitation of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan, President of the Emirates.

The discussions will aim, among other things, to boost economic relations between the two states, which are already on an upward trend, and the development of joint projects to combat climate change, in the field of energy, cyber and food security.

On Saturday morning, the Romanian head of state signed the Book of Honor opened to two of the symbols of national culture and history in the United Arab Emirates: the Martyrs' Monument and the Great Mosque of Abu Dhabi, informs the Presidential Administration.
