Eight development projects are underway in Ialoveni through national government programs

The town of Ialoveni benefits from eight development projects funded by national programs, including "European Village," "European Village Express," "Europe is Close," and "Public Nursery Services". These projects involve investments in road infrastructure, sewage systems, early childhood education, sports facilities, and urban planning. According to the National Office for Regional and Local Development (ONDRL), the goal of these initiatives is to modernize infrastructure and enhance living conditions for the town's residents.

One of the projects currently being implemented is the construction of the bypass road between Liviu Rebreanu str. and Grădinilor str, as part of the Government Program “Europe is Close”. The works involve the paving of 1.26 kilometers of local road and the renovation of a similar length of access roads to several public institutions, including the District Hospital and the polyclinic.

For this project, the Government has allocated 9 million lei from the state budget through the National Fund for Regional and Local Development (FNDRL), and the local public administration in Ialoveni has contributed approximately 1.33 million lei.

The investments also focus on the town's urban development. As part of the second edition of the “European Village” Program, the Ialoveni Town Hall is working on the General Urban Plan for the town. This document aims to outline the directions for modernization over the coming years and provide a framework for planning investments and infrastructure development. Approximately 1.16 million lei has been allocated from the state budget for this purpose through the FNDRL.

Another area receiving investment is early education. Through the first two editions of the “Public Nursery Services” Program, three early education institutions in Ialoveni have been furnished with the necessary equipment and supplies. Additionally, two new nursery groups for children up to three years of age have been established in the town. Over one million lei have been allocated for these initiatives.

In the third edition of the program at Kindergarten No. 5 "Regina Maria," an annex featuring a multifunctional hall for festive and sports activities will be constructed. The project also includes the establishment of two nursery groups, accommodating a total of 50 children. Approximately 8.45 million lei has been allocated from the state budget for this investment through FNDRL.

A significant aspect of these investments is the expansion of sewage networks. During the first two editions of the "European Village" Program, over 12 kilometers of new sewage networks were built, and two wastewater pumping stations were installed.

The ONDRL reported that the construction of 12.1 km of new sewage networks and the installation of two wastewater pumping stations have been completed. This development ensures access to the centralized sewage network for around 3,400 households across four sectors of the city, which is home to more than 9,000 residents.

For these sewage projects, the Government allocated approximately 15 million lei.

Additionally, investments in the town's infrastructure include the development of a sports field. Through the "European Express Village" Program, a modern mini-football field with artificial turf has been built in the Albeni sector of Ialoveni. This project received approximately 450,000 lei from the state budget through FNDRL.

The new infrastructure is specifically designed for children and young people, providing a space to play football, engage in various sports activities, and socialise during their free time.

According to ONDRL, the projects being implemented in Ialoveni focus on multiple aspects of local development. They aim to modernise the infrastructure and improve conditions for the community.
