Financial education, promoted in the Republic of Moldova
In the context of the Global Money Week, the Ministry of Finance, together with the subordinate institutions, organizes, starting today and until March 26, a series of activities aimed at raising awareness of the importance and role of financial education.
The initiative is supported by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, in which 176 countries are involved.
The Minister of Finance, Veronica Sirețeanu, will participate and give a speech at the first National Forum of Financial Education in the Republic of Moldova, organized by the National Bank of Moldova. Under the banner of "Public Finance Talks", the Minister of Finance will go to two lyceums and four universities in Chisinau, where she will have discussions with pupils and students about public finance.
The Ministry of Finance joined this initiative for the first time in 2021.
