NATO military exercise in the Black Sea, just a few kilometers from the war zone

Militaries from Romania and 11 other NATO member countries are taking part in an exercise at sea and in the Danube Delta, less than a week after the incident in which a US drone crashed in the Black Sea after being harassed by Russian fighter jets , reports Rador.

3,400 military personnel from 12 partner and allied countries, such as Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Georgia, the United States of America, Turkey, as well as other countries, are participating in the exercise conducted by the Romanian Naval Forces. It is a complex exercise that takes place both in the air, on land, and on water.

The Romanian Naval Forces participate with 30 military ships, the Bulgarian Naval Forces with two. There will also be 14 aircraft from France, Romania, the United States of America and Turkey, as well as 15 fast response boats and 57 military vehicles.

The exercise will take place primarily on water, both in the Danube Delta, at Mahmudia, and in the Black Sea, and the military must pay close attention, especially since there is a war zone just a few kilometers away.
