Igor Grosu: The justice reform will continue
The justice reform will continue, regardless of the resistance the system puts up, and the process enjoys the support of the people, external partners and an unwavering political will. This was announced by the Parliament SpeakerIgor Grosu, who was disappointed by the meeting of the General Assembly of Judges and by the magistrates' refusal to elect their members to the Superior Council of Magistracy. The head of the legislative says that the people who oppose the justice reform also oppose the accession process of the Republic of Moldova to the EU, notes IPN.
Igor Grosu claims that, by refusing to appoint the CSM members from among the judges, the magistrates are only delaying the process of cleaning the system. We remind you that the General Assembly of Judges took place on March 17 and was to elect the members of the CSM from among the judges. The meeting was interrupted until April 28, during which the appeals of the judges rejected by the pre-vetting commission will be examined.
