Ministry of Finance receives a non-refundable budget support of over 283 million lei to ensure the compensation of bills
The non-refundable budget support of over 283 million lei from the contributions of Sweden and Switzerland will be allocated to ensure compensation of bills to vulnerable households, announced the Ministry of Finance.
These non-reimbursable financial resources were announced by the Governments of Sweden and Switzerland, during the Ministerial Conference "Support Platform for the Republic of Moldova" held on November 21, 2022, in Paris, and made available through the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), these being planned in the state budget for the current year.
The energy vulnerability reduction fund was established by the Government of the Republic of Moldova, with the financial support of the EU and the Government of Slovakia.
