Alexandr Gaidarli claims back-to-back U23 world wrestling bronze

Moldovan freestyle wrestler Alexandr Gaidarli captured a bronze medal at the U23 World Wrestling Championships in Las Vegas, securing his second consecutive podium finish at the tournament.
Competing in the 70-kilogram weight division, the Moldovan athlete dominated his decisive medal match, defeating Ukraine's Emrah Hashimov by a commanding 10-0 technical superiority.
Continental pedigree and rising career
The result marks back-to-back world bronze medals for Gaidarli in the under-23 age bracket. A native of Copceac in southern Moldova, he also previously secured an under-23 European title.
Gaidarli has continued an impressive transition across competitive tiers this season. Earlier this year, he claimed silver at the senior European Championships, building on his second-place finish at the U20 World Championships last season.
