Congestion at Tudora and Sculeni customs; travelers should choose other border crossings

Increased traffic is being reported at the Tudora and Sculeni border crossings, heading out of the Republic of Moldova. Travellers are advised to use alternative crossing points to avoid border congestion.

To improve traffic flow, border authorities have opened additional lanes and implemented a reversible-lane procedure.

Furthermore, according to the Border Police, to reduce waiting times, travellers and vehicles should be distributed among other border crossing points as well.

If your itinerary allows, consider crossing the border via the Costești, Leova, Cahul, or Palanca crossing points.

Choosing an alternative crossing point helps balance traffic flow and reduces waiting times for everyone traveling across the border, the Border Police advise.
