European Council President Charles Michel expected in Chișinău today

The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, will pay another official visit to Moldova today. The announcement was made on the website of the Brussels institution.

Charles Michel will have meetings with President Maia Sandu, Prime Minister Dorin Recean and Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu.

The President of the European Council was in Chisinau on 4 May last year, before our country received the status of candidate country for EU membership.

The President of the European Council was on an official visit to Romania before his visit to Chisinau.

The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has announced a Yellow Code warning due to a significant drop in temperatures across the country, effective January 11. Meteorologists predict that the average daily air temperature will decrease by 5-7°C starting on that date.
