The Head of the Council of Europe Office in Chisinau, William Massolin, is ending his mission. In this context, the official had a discussion with the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu.
The Head of State thanked William Massolin and his team for their support to democratic reforms in our country in the fields of justice, media and human rights.
"The government will continue its efforts to reform the justice system and regain people's trust in this sector. A functioning and independent justice system is a precondition for the development of our economy and the strengthening of our state, and an essential condition for our European course," a Presidency statement reads.
