The Central Electoral Commission has a new member

Dana Munteanu was appointed as a member of the Central Electoral Commission. A draft decision to this effect was voted by 53 deputies.

Dana Munteanu started her work at the Central Electoral Commission in 2012 and, until now, held the position of deputy head in the election management department within the institution. The Central Electoral Commission has nine members – eight appointed by the Parliament and one by the President of the country CEC members are irremovable and cannot be members of parties and other social-political organizations.
