Prime Minister Recean comes to Parliament today to ask for the extension of the state of emergency by 60 days
Prime Minister Dorin Recean will today ask the Parliament to extend the state of emergency by 60 days, starting from April 5. MPs will consider this request in Thursday's meeting, which will start at 11:00.
According to the agenda of the plenary session, the deputies will examine in the first reading the package of laws regarding the activity of the SIS and the counter-informative activity and the external informative activity.
Also, the deputies will examine in the second reading, the bill proposing the reform of the Supreme Court of Justice (SCJ), as well as the extraordinary evaluation of the judges of the SCJ and the candidates for this position.
The legislative initiative was also included on the agenda, which stipulates the delimitation of the powers of the Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office and the National Anticorruption Center to investigate high-level corruption cases.
In the plenary session of the Parliament, the draft law on subsidies in agriculture and the rural environment will be proposed for examination in the second reading, as well as the legislative initiative offering young people the opportunity to do paid internships in the public sector.
