A bill that would facilitate the development of remote business, voted by deputies
Foreign investors and domestic companies will be able to hire foreign nationals without having to pay state social security contributions and health insurance premiums. Parliament today voted in first reading on several pieces of legislation that would make it easier to develop remote business.
Notarial deeds will also be able to be completed electronically. This initiative will reduce costs for economic agents and solve the problem of labour shortages on the domestic market in several areas, according to Viorel Garaz, secretary of state at the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitisation.
"This project contains a number of important legislative changes that will help to digitize notary services and ensure occupational safety and health conditions for employees working remotely. The draft also provides for the possibility of employing foreign citizens and stipulates how to interact with them through information systems," said the Secretary of State.
Another provision of the draft concerns the obligation for some public service providers to ensure the availability of their web pages, information, data and applications published in English.
