Election Sunday in Finland, Bulgaria and Montenegro

Finns, Bulgarians and Montenegrins are called to vote, on Sunday, to choose their leaders for the coming years. The Bulgarians are the "champions" of the elections, being called to the polls for the fifth time in the last two years.

In Finland, Prime Minister Sanna Marin, 37 years old, could be deposed by the right or even anti-immigration nationalists. A very close battle in which he faces the leader of the Social Democrats, the number one of the National Coalition Petteri Orpo, and the leader of the far-right party, Riikka Purra, who is aiming for an unprecedented victory and a record score for this legislative election.

In Montenegro, a small Balkan country, voters have to choose their head of state in the second round of the presidential election, which is between Jakov Milatovic and Milo Djukanovic, a veteran of the political scene. In the first round, Milo Djukanovic, who has dominated the country for the past three decades, won 35.4% of the votes compared to 28.9% for Jakov Milatovic. The vote will be decisive for the balance of power in this country, as early legislative elections called for June 11 approach.
