Dozens of civilians were killed in the latest Russian bombings of Ukraine

At least three civilians were killed and eight were wounded in Russian shelling of Kostiantinovka, a city in Ukraine's Donetsk region, presidential chief of staff Andrei Ermak said on social media on April 2.

"The Russians carried out a massive bombardment of the town of Kostiantinovka," Ermak wrote on Telegram, adding that 16 apartment buildings, eight private houses, a kindergarten and an administrative building were damaged in the attack. Another civilian was killed and two others were wounded in Russian shelling in the Kherson region, the regional military administration said in a statement on April 2. "The Russian army attacked residential neighborhoods in Kherson six times. The shells hit private apartment buildings," the official statement said.

The head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Pavlo Kirilenko, also reported that at least 10 civilians were wounded in Russian attacks in the region. "On April 1, the Russians injured five residents of the Donetsk region: three in Toretsk and two in Bahmut," he said.
