AIPA allocated about 200 million lei in March for the farmers of the Republic of Moldova

About 200 million lei were allocated by the Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture (AIPA) for farmers in the Republic of Moldova in March. The money has already been disbursed to the accounts of grant applicants by AIPA.

The Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture disbursed 185 million lei to satisfy requests for granting subsidies on various incentive mechanisms.

Thus, more than 154 million lei were allocated for post-investment subsidies, and about 20 million lei for advance subsidy requests.

At the same time, approximately 3 million lei were offered to advance applications for the development of the start-up project and 8.5 million lei for applications to implement projects through the LEADER approach.

The Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture assures agricultural producers that they are making considerable efforts to optimize the evaluation and payment process as soon as possible of the financial support requests submitted in the 2022 subsidy year.

In total, since the beginning of this year, AIPA has disbursed 335 million lei.

We remind you that for the year 2023, according to the state budget law, the size of the National Fund for the Development of Agriculture and the Rural Environment is 1.5 billion lei. In 2022, the subsidy fund was the same, but for the first time, during the year it was increased to 1.7 billion lei.
