Lilia Potîng, a member of the CSP from among the civil society, gave up her mandate

Lilia Potîng, appointed in November 2019, as a member of the Superior Council of Prosecutors (CSP) from among civil society, has given up her mandate. Her resignation request was approved in today's meeting with the majority of CSP members' votes.

Lilia Potîng was appointed as a member of the CSP by a Government order on November 1, 2019.

According to the Law on the Prosecutor's Office, the Superior Council of Prosecutors is made up of 13 members. The President of the CSM (including interim), the Minister of Justice (including interim), the People's Advocate and the Prosecutor General are de jure part of the CSP.
