Tragic case in Hîncești district: A baby died after fell out of the car with his mother
A 9-month-old baby has died after he had fallen with his mother from the car driven by his father. The latter fled from the scene, informs the Police. The law enforcement officers found that both parents were in a state of advanced intoxication.
"A few hours ago, the police in Hîncești were alerted that a woman and a child fell from a car that was moving on a street in the village of Bălceana. At the scene, it was established that at around 2:00 p.m., his 40-year-old wife, who was holding their 9-month-old child, fell from a Dacia Logan, driven by a 45-year-old man, under unknown circumstances, says the Police.
The woman and the child were transported to the Hîncești District Hospital. The mother's condition is satisfactory, and the baby died as a result of the trauma.
The police found the driver at his home in the same village. Being subjected to breathalyzer testing, a breath alcohol concentration of 1.11 mg/l was established. At the hospital, the woman was also alcohol tested, the result was 1.15 mg/l in the exhaled air.
