LogInSight – solution presented in Brussels by two students from the Republic of Moldova

Two teenage girls from the Republic of Moldova have created a system that helps users of various online platforms keep their accounts away from hackers. The innovation was presented in Brussels, at the European final of the Girls Go Circular competition, dedicated to cybersecurity.
Sofia Moraru and Sabina Javgureanu, third-year students at the ASEM National College of Commerce, competed in the finals alongside participants from the United Kingdom and Cyprus. The finalist teams were tasked with proposing an original digital solution that would respond to a real challenge in the field of online security.
The project of the students from the Republic of Moldova – LogInSight – represents a practical solution to a common problem: the fact that many accounts remain open without users realising it.
*“The project is based on an idea that we thought of together, namely, to be able to see where you are logged in, on which device, easily, without going into the settings and searching,” said Sofia Moraru, one of the authors.
Her colleague, Sabina Javgureanu, is confident that investors will be interested in the project.
"Of course, we need resources, experts or people to help us, we are not yet experts in the field, we are still students, who still have a lot to learn, but who knows, maybe in the future it will become a real and even existing idea", the student said.
Teacher Olga Enachi, the project coordinator within Junior Achievement Moldova, was with the two students on this journey.
"Teachers are, in fact, the builders of the future. I felt truly appreciated here and motivated to continue my work when I get home", the teacher confessed.

The European initiative Girls Go Circular, which promotes gender equality in STEM (an acronym for science, technology, engineering and mathematics), is implemented in over 30 European countries, continuously expanding its network.
The Grand Prize of this year’s edition, which marks five years of impact of the Girls Go Circular initiative, was won by teenage girls from Cyprus. The teams from the Republic of Moldova and the United Kingdom received certificates of finalists.
The initiative is funded by the European Union through the European Institute of Innovation and Technology.
