The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) will inform the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office about the actions taken by four political parties during the campaign for the presidential elections and the republican constitutional referendum scheduled for fall 2024. During its meeting on August 14, the CEC approved control reports that focused on the activities of several parties and candidates. Additionally, the CEC called on the "Renaștere" Party and independent candidate Victoria Furtună to return any amounts collected or spent in violation of the law to the state budget.
