Former sportsman Ion Șoltoianu remanded in custody for 30 days
Former sportsman Ion Șoltoianu has been remanded in custody for 30 days. The measure was imposed by the Chisinau Ciocana court at the request of prosecutors.
Two days ago, PCCOCS prosecutors, together with INI officers, detained former sportsman Ivan Șoltoianu, who is suspected of illegally claiming more than 5 million lei from another prisoner while he was in prison since 2019.
Șoltoianu is also a defendant in the case of the physical assault of a man in the Botanica sector of Chisinau who was walking his dog in March 2022.
