Alexandr Nesterovschi and Irina Lozovan, who left the Party of Socialists, collect signatures for the creation of a new party

Unaffiliated MPs Alexandr Nesterovschi and Irina Lozovan, who have left the Party of Socialists, are collecting signatures for the creation of a new party. The priorities of the future party include defending the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova and joining the Eurasian Union, said MP Alexandr Nesterovschi.

"One of our priorities is to return the Russian language to the status of a second official language, and within a few weeks we will register a draft law to this effect. Another priority is immediate accession to the Eurasian Union. This is a Union that includes our old friends, with whom we have worked previously, such as Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, etc. We are aiming for membership of the Eurasian Union and the development of deeper relations with the CIS, which is to the benefit of our citizens," Nesterovschi said.

In the current legislature, 3 PSRM MPs have left the BCS faction, declaring themselves independent MPs. Subsequently, Gaik Vartanean joined the National Alternative Movement Party of the mayor of Chisinau, Ion Ceban, and Alexandr Nesterovschi and Irina Lozovan - to the Movement for the People, created including the political party Șor, which has the smallest faction in the current legislature.

In order to discourage political exfiltration, Promolex has recommended that Parliament consider the possibility of including additional measures to discourage exfiltration, such as deprivation of allowances, participation in parliamentary committees or representation in international delegations.
