Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu participates in the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Eastern Partnership
The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Nicu Popescu will participate in the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Eastern Partnership, which is being held today, December 12, in Brussels.
The ministerial meeting will be chaired by the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell. Discussions will focus on the future of the Eastern Partnership, security challenges and the consequences of Russia's war against Ukraine for the entire region. Also, within the program, the Deputy Prime Minister will have meetings with Olivér Várhelyi, European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement, Stefano Sannino, Secretary General of the European External Action Service, as well as other top officials from the European Union.
