Presidential adviser: "The Bulboaca Summit will be talked about everywhere, in all European capitals"
The European Political Community is first and foremost a group of people and countries that share the same values, interests, identity and objectives. The purpose of this structure is to ensure peace and security on the European continent, explained the adviser for Foreign Affairs and Strategic Communication to the President of the Republic of Moldova Olga Rosca, during the "Paralela 47" programme on Radio Moldova.
According to her, officials attending the June 1 event will discuss the most important issues since the Second World War.
"The summit will take place 20 kilometres from Ukraine, which is also an important sign of support from the whole of Europe for Ukraine. For us it is an international recognition of us, of Bulboaca, the Bulboaca Summit will be talked about everywhere, in all European capitals. We will have 600-800 journalists writing about Moldova. We are gaining more and more respect, both from European countries. This means that we have a voice that is listened to, heard and respected. 47 countries and three EU institutions will discuss peace, security, energy and how to create a more interconnected Europe," said Olga Rosca.
The European Political Community brings together all countries on the European continent except Russia and Belarus.
On 1 June, some 50 heads of state and government and European Union officials will meet in Moldova for the second meeting of the European Political Community summit.
