Several political leaders met at the Presidency, at the invitation of Maia Sandu
Several political leaders of the extra-parliamentary parties met today at the presidency, at the invitation of Maia Sandu, to discuss the "European Moldova" National Assembly, planned for May 21. The information was confirmed for Radio Moldova by the head of the information and communication with media department, Mariana Buciuceanu.
According to a press release from the presidency, one of the subjects of the meeting was the need to unify the efforts of the pro-European political forces so that the Republic of Moldova becomes a member state of the EU with full rights.
The head of state mentioned that our place is in the European family and it depends on all the pro-European parties that the accession to the EU becomes a country project, supported by all our citizens.
President Maia Sandu emphasized that the "European Moldova" National Assembly is an event belonging to all citizens, regardless of their political views, where they will say with one voice that our sovereign decision is to integrate our country into the European Union .
We remind you that on May 21, in the Great National Assembly Square, the "European Moldova" National Assembly will take place, during which Maia Sandu together with the representatives of the Government will give a clear and blunt answer to those who ask what the Moldovans want. The event will end with the adoption of a declaration, confirming the citizens' support for joining the European Union.
