CSE decision: Termoelectrica will receive 7,000 tons of fuel oil from state reserves

The Material Reserves Agency will release 7,000 tons of fuel oil from the state reserves, as unblocking, to SA "Termoelectrica". A decision in this sense was taken today by the members of the Commission for Emergency Situations (CSE) in order to improve the situation in the thermal energy sector.

"Termoelectrica" will use this fuel for the production of electricity and thermal energy.

The National Energy Regulatory Agency will accept 208.6 million lei as consideration for the released fuel oil.

Also, CAE comes with updates of the formulas for calculating the electricity deficit and the price for electricity surplus applied by ANRE for the period June 1, 2022 – December 31, 2022.

About a hundred localities in the Republic of Moldova do not have access to medicines. "Pharmacy in your village" reached only 47 villages in 2024

In many villages in the Republic of Moldova, access to medicines remains a major problem, due to the lack of pharmacies. Though the authorities launched the "Pharmacy in your village" project, within which they proposed to open 146 state-subsidized pharmacies this year, only 47 were created. So the inhabitants of many villages still have limited access to the necessary treatments, and this situation especially affects the elderly or those with chronic diseases.

With love and longing, thousands of Moldovans abroad send parcels with goodies to their families at home during this period. On the eve of the winter holidays, transport companies come to Chisinau with minibuses full of gifts. But they also return to European destinations with traditional dishes. The Moldovans we met while sending parcels to relatives abroad told us they included gifts: wine, fruit and sweets, so they could have a celebration like at home.
