Driving licenses issued in Moldova and Turkey, mutually recognized

Citizens of the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Turkey, permanently or temporarily established in the territory of the other country, have the right to convert their driver's license, being exempt from schooling, taking theoretical and practical exams, as well as the expenses related to these processes.

According to the Public Services Agency, the conversion of driver's licenses ensures citizens the right to drive vehicles in international traffic and will facilitate the conclusion of more advantageous employment contracts in the transport field.

Respectively, the holders of driving licenses obtained in the Republic of Turkey should apply to the competent subdivisions of ASP for their conversion to driving licenses issued in the Republic of Moldova without taking the exams.

Currently, our country has such bilateral agreements with five states.

The National Energy Regulatory Agency postponed today's meeting, November 27, during which the new gas tariff was to be examined and approved based on the request submitted by S.A. "Moldovagaz" for Friday, November 29, at 10:00. According to the institution, ANRE representatives need to examine and analyze "a large volume of information related to the project to adjust regulated prices for the supply of natural gas".
