The last bell rang today in educational institutions
The last bell rang today for thousands of students in Moldova. On this occasion, the Minister of Education and Research, Anatolie Topala, sent a congratulatory message for the achievements of students and teachers.
The official also expressed his conviction that what schoolchildren have learned this year means a lot for their human and intellectual development and motivates them to become responsible citizens of the Republic of Moldova, with respect for themselves and others, in line with general human values.
Anatolie Topala thanked the teachers for their hard work and the parents for their daily support.
The decision to end the school year on 30 May was taken earlier by the authorities in the context of preparations for the European Political Community Summit, which will be hosted by our country on 1 June. At the same time, 1 and 2 June have been declared public holidays.
