Joint Moldovan-Ukrainian control at the Basarabeasca-Serpniovo 1 railway crossing point
The Republic of Moldova and Ukraine will constitute a joint control at the Basarabeasca-Serpniovo 1 railway crossing point on the territory of our country. The initiation of negotiations and the approval of the signing of a Protocol in this regard was approved by the Government.
This fact will allow the consolidation of the security of the Moldovan-Ukrainian borders, says the Minister of Internal Affairs, Ana Revenco.
"The document will contribute to diversifying the ways of transporting goods with Ukraine, ensuring the Republic of Moldova's access to the main regional routes for transporting fuel of different types, as well as to the development of cross-border cooperation. At the same time, the strengthening of national security, public order and the well-being of both states will be ensured. This project will allow us to take another step forward in terms of managing the logistics chain of cargo supply in the context of the war in Ukraine by opening an international cargo transport route", said Ana Revenco.
