Prime Minister Dorin Recean represented the Republic of Moldova at the inauguration ceremony of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The announcement was made by Government spokesman Daniel Voda.
"The Republic of Moldova and Turkey are developing a strategic partnership and we have conveyed our intention to deepen bilateral relations, especially the mutual trade-economic and investment potential," said Prime Minister Dorin Recean.
The official also pointed out that together with the European countries, our countries promote the agenda of peace and stability in the region.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was today sworn in for his third five-year presidential term in a ceremony at the parliament in Ankara, international media report.
Delegations from 70 countries, more than 30 of which are headed by heads of state or government, were in Ankara to attend President Erdogan's swearing-in.
