Oil production could be reduced

Members of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) do not rule out the possibility of reducing oil production by about one million barrels per day, informs Euronews. According to the quoted source, on Saturday began a two-day meeting of these countries caused by a further drop in the price of up to 70 dollars per barrel in early June.

Currently, agreements have been made to reduce oil production by a total of three million 600 thousand barrels.

However, several sources believe that OPEC will not make new cuts. Iran, for example, does not rule out an increase in production to compensate for the damage caused by sanctions.
