Siegfried Mureșan: We need to revise the Multiannual Financial Framework to help Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova more
The Multiannual Financial Framework must be revised, in order to help Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova more and to finance unforeseen priorities, announces MEP Siegfried Mureșan.
In a post on his Facebook page, Siegfried Muresan says that the financial support offered to the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine will bring peace, security and stability within all 27 EU member states.
According to him, in the current budget proposal, the financial resources of the Union are limited.
The Romanian MEP states that the EU budget proposal for 2024, worth about 190 billion euros, covers traditional European priorities such as cohesion and agriculture, but the Multiannual Financial Framework must be revised to help Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova more.
