Jens Stoltenberg urges NATO states to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukraine
The Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, urged, on Thursday, the states of the North Atlantic Alliance to quickly provide support to people left without homes after the destruction of the Kahovka dam, according to Mediafax.
The Ukrainian Foreign Minister, Dmitro Kuleba, participated in a meeting organized by video conference by Jens Stoltenberg with the ambassadors of the NATO member states.
"It is necessary to provide immediate assistance" to victims of the floods in Ukraine, Jens Stoltenberg said, according to Le Figaro daily, adding that representatives of NATO states expressed "strong solidarity".
