\Ukrainian authorities receive the batch of humanitarian aid offered by the Republic of Moldova
The batch of humanitarian aid destined for Ukraine, after the Nova Kahovka dam was destroyed, was received by the Ukrainian authorities, the press officer of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, Liliana Pușcașu, told Radio Moldova.
She also emphasized that the batch of international humanitarian assistance is worth 4.2 million lei.
"On Saturday, the rescuers from the Republic of Moldova set off to transport, by land, a batch of humanitarian aid destined for Ukraine. Aid includes water pumping stations, inflatable boats, food and flood relief equipment. The goods are offered from the IGSU reserve and the Material Reserve Agency. All the aid arrived in Ukraine and was received by the authorities there," said Liliana Pușcașu.
We remind you that the decision to send this batch of international humanitarian assistance to the neighboring country, to manage the ecological and humanitarian consequences caused by the destruction of the Nova Kahovka dam, was approved on June 9 by the Commission for Emergency Situations, chaired by Prime Minister Dorin Recean .
