Blood donation points, organized in Chisinau

Today, between 09:00 and 16:00, blood donation points will be organized in the Ciocana and Râșcani sectors. Also, a mobile point for donating blood and blood components will be deployed tomorrow at the Republican Palace in Chisinau.

The event takes place in the context of the World Blood Donor Day, titled "Donate blood, save lives" and aims to raise society's awareness of the importance of donating blood voluntarily and systematically.

The Prime Minister of Moldova, Dorin Recean, has warned that the country is bracing for a “very difficult” winter. The main challenges that could lead to a significant crisis include the potential interruption of natural gas supplies to the Transnistrian region and the request from Moldovagaz to increase tariffs by more than four lei. At the start of the Cabinet of Ministers' meeting, the Prime Minister assured that, despite these difficulties, the government will work to find solutions to manage the situation.
