The subject of the movement of citizens on the left side of the Nistru was discussed at the meeting of the special parliamentary monitoring and control committee on the implementation of the reintegration policy of the Republic of Moldova, reads a press release from the Parliament.

The event was also attended by the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Oleg Serebrian, as well as representatives of the Public Services Agency, the State Fiscal Service and the General Police Inspectorate.

The discussions focused on the subject of movement of citizens on the left side of the Nistru. The participants referred to the mechanism for issuing neutral registration numbers for motor vehicles and the situation of the ferry from Molovata. The meeting also discussed the latest developments in the process of settling the Transnistrian conflict.

We remind that, according to the Legislative, this special parliamentary commission has the objective of monitoring and evaluating the situation regarding the reintegration policies and developing proposals and recommendations, which would allow the regaining of trust and the rapprochement of the citizens on both banks of the Nistru.
