The natural gas tariff will not increase for consumers after the last decision of the CSE, Andrei Spînu
The natural gas tariff for final consumers will not change, after SA Energocom, according to the CSE decision, will sell 100 million m3 of gas to MoldovaGaz. This was announced today by the Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development.
In a post on Telegram, Andrei Spînu mentioned that the average price of USD 1108.61/thousand m3 that Moldovagaz will pay, includes the gas purchase cost, transportation costs and storage costs that it has incurred Energocom. "For the first time in the history of our country, the right bank will not consume gas supplied by Gazprom. Since last year, we have promised to make reserves and find alternatives to stop being dependent on a single source. We managed to do this", said the minister. Andrei Spînu emphasized that citizens will continue to receive support in the bill.
